With its concrete façade and industrial interior, the house stands out from the crowd in the Gold Coast suburb of Broadbeach Waters, where you’re more likely to find entire streets of traditional Queenslanders than a sleek, modern build.

Set on a 517sqm block, it boasts six bedrooms, three resort-style bathrooms and a large open-plan kitchen area that opens onto a stunning patio with a private pontoon which leads down to the water’s edge.

No expense has been spared on the interior, with lavish features including soaring three-metre ceilings, polished concrete floors, and marble finishes in the kitchen and three bathrooms.

The house also comes with a beautifully landscaped garden and an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and pizza oven.

Windows on one side flood the living spaces with natural light, while east facing panes on the other capture panoramic views of the city skyline.

The property is set to sell under the hammer on Sunday, October 17.

Listing agent Aydan Mullin of Savills Real Estate said he has already seen keen interest from interstate buyers looking to relocate from Covid-ravaged NSW and Victoria to the sunnier climes of the Gold Coast.

‘Everyone wants to move here at the moment, I actually don’t remember the last time I sold to a local,’ Mr Mullin told Daily Mail Australia.

He said the house’s concrete exterior sets it apart from more traditional properties in Broadbeach Waters.

‘It’s difference is definitely making it even more sought after,’ he added.

While an asking price has not been disclosed, the average sale price for a four-bedroom in the area was $1.47million in 2020, according realestate.com.au.

Given its size and striking decor, the six-bedroom on Rio Vista Boulevard is likely to sell for considerably more.
