Iconic Korean restaurant Bonchon finally opens in Australia – here’s how you can try their famous double-fried chicken wings for FREE

Global Korean fried chicken chain, Bonchon, has opened its first ever Australian restaurant and is celebrating by giving away free chicken wings this weekend. 

Bonchon, which has 370 locations across the globe, has opened its doors in Melbourne’s Craigieburn Central and will be treating diners to three of its famous chicken wings at no charge this Saturday January 15 from 2-5pm. 

The Korean-inspired eatery’s uses its double-frying method to prepare their famous chicken wings and drumsticks to ensure they are extra crunchy.

Bonchon’s chicken is also hand glazed in their signature sauces made from authentic Korean ingredients.   

In addition to its famous chicken, Bonchon has an extensive menu of Korean-inspired fusion dishes including its kimchi fried rice, steam bao buns, chicken katsu, and dumplings. 

Other popular menu items include the kimchi loaded fries, Korean chicken burger, and k-bowls.

There is also a range of Korean beers and Soju cocktails including the signature Bonchon Strawberry Cosmo. 

Bonchon, which translates to ‘my hometown’ in Korean, first opened in Busan, Korea, in 2002 and now has stores all over the world including America, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
