An Australian woman has revealed how you can take home five ‘McFlurrys’ from McDonald’s for less than $5.
The mum buys ice cream cones served in sundae lids and a serving of M&M’s to add on the top – and says it is the perfect serving size for the sweet treat.
And others agree – with many claiming they never finish a whole McFlurry and love the idea of mini version.
‘Great idea ever I never eat a whole McFlurry,’ said one woman.

The mini desserts are also cost effective as each serving of ice cream costs just .50c and the M&M’s are just .70c.
‘I used to do this as a teenager when I was broke,’ said one woman.
The hack is perfect for families – who don’t wan’t to spend $5.10 per person on a sweet treat.
‘It is too much to spend $30 on a sundae each – this is a much better idea,’ one woman said.
‘Was under $5 for all the kids and myself, better than $5 a pop,’ the poster said as she shared her hack.
And the the hack proved very popular with thousands of people reacting to the post and hundreds commenting.

‘This is a great idea, my kids don’t finish their big ice cream most times,’ another mum said.
‘I used to work at Mcdonald’s, and this is the best way to get good portion size and no mess for kids,’ one woman said.

‘You can do this at Hungry Jack too, been doing it for years,’ one woman said.
You can also buy the cone in the lid with the sundae toppings, including caramel, chocolate and strawberry.
