A suspended footy star is facing more time out of the game after he was booted off a plane for allegedly being drunk.

Sydney Roosters NRL player Victor Radley was removed from a flight to Sydney hours after the Roosters secured a nail-biting 35-34 win over Gold Coast last Saturday afternoon.

Radley, 23, didn’t play in the game as he is currently serving a five match ban.

He flew to the Glitter Strip to watch his teammate Ben Thomas make his NRL debut for the Tricolours.

Radley is facing a fine of up to $10,000 for his alleged indiscretion.

According to the Courier Mail, club officials immediately informed the NRL integrity unit after it emerged Radley was removed from the flight on Saturday.

It is understood he then flew home on Sunday morning.

Earlier this year, Radley was suspended by the NRL for two matches and fined $20,000 after his involvement in another incident at tourist haven Byron Bay on December 30.

The governing body suspended $10,000 of that penalty – but Radley may now have to cough up the money due to his latest alleged off-field drama.

Radley, one of the game’s most popular players, has already won two NRL premierships and is renowned for his tackling technique and larrikin nature.

A few weeks ago he was suspended for five games following a number of high tackles in an upset loss to the Brisbane Broncos at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Radio identity Ray Hadley believes Radley should ‘pull his head in’ or his NRL career could be over.

‘It’s very simple, he’s an elite player and with that goes responsibility. If you’re playing A-Grade in the park you can probably get away with being drunk but not if you’re an NRL player,’ he said on popular Fox Sports show NRL 360.

‘I want him to fulfil his potential and he’s got to do that on and off the field.’
