Ariana Grande cried while making a tough Battle Round decision and Camila Cabello made her debut as an advisor on Monday’s episode of The Voice.

The 28-year-old pop star and new judge on the NBC show got emotional as the Battle Rounds started after she pitted her singers Katie Rae, 35, and Bella DeNapoli, 22, against each other in a duet of No More Tears (Enough Is Enough).

Ariana looked lovely in a lilac dress and her voice broke as she spoke Katie and Bella after their stellar performance.

‘I don’t want to get too emotional, but I adore you both so much. You’re both so consistently phenomenal and, like, there’s nothing to be fixed ever. Every single time we ran it, it was stunningly perfect,’ Ariana said with her voice full of emotion.

Kelly Clarkson, 39, fanned herself as she also tried to contain her emotions.

Ariana said the song meant a lot to her as she and her mother sing it together in the car.

‘Oh, god. I hate this so much. I literally talked to my therapist about this,’ Ariana said.

Ariana then declared that Katie was the winner of the battle.

Show host Carson Daly, 48, reminded the coaches that Bella was available to steal or save.

Bella was about to walk off the stage but Ariana smacked her buzzer to save her.

Ariana looked around to see if any of the other judges tried to steal her.

‘We can’t steal now! You were crying! We’re not heartless!,’ Kelly told Ariana.

Ariana later surprised Bella and hugged her.

Camila, 24, also made her debut as an advisor working with coach John Legend, 42.

She immediately helped out his singers Samuel Harness and KJ Jennings who performed I Know What You Did Last Summer by Camila and her boyfriend Shawn Mendes.

Samuel was named the winner by John after their duet.

Kelly also was torn after pairing her trio Girl Named Tom against Kinsey Rose.

Girl Named Tom was named the winner after they sang Seven Bridges Road, but Kelly saved Kinsey after Ariana, John and Blake Shelton, 45, tried to steal her.

Blake paired Peedy Chavis against The Joy Reunion in a duet of Joy To The World and Peedy was declared the winner.

Ariana also had David Vogel battle against Chavon Rodgers in a due tof Sugar, We’re Goin Down and David was declared the winner.

Kelly pitted Jeremy Rosado against Jershika Maple for a duet of Hold On by Justin Bieber.

She named Jeremy as the winner, but John and Ariana both buzzed in to steal Jershika.

‘I know how much it takes to make all of those intricate runs happen flawlessly. And you did it in a way that I’ve never seen and I admire and I respect and I appreciate and I recognize,’ Ariana said as she lobbied for Jershika.

The two-hour episode ended before Jershika announced who she picked as her new coach.

The Voice will return Tuesday on NBC.
