Dennis explained: ‘Well Karl we bought this place about 10 years ago and every year we’ve been doing renovations and we started off with five children at home but now we’ve only got the one child.’

‘They’re all still alive. They’ve just moved out of the home,’ Sharon clarified as Karl burst into laughter.

The couple then continued to give Today a tour of their stunning house, as co-host Leila McKinnon asked: ‘What’s the thing you’ll miss most?’
