The pastry snack is easy to make and only requires the leftover mince, grated cheese and puff pastry sheets. Adele also made a dip from sour cream, avocado and lemon juice
To make the tasty snack, Adele used slightly thawed puff pastry sheets cut into triangular shapes on a non-stick oven tray.
She then combined the grated cheese with the minced meat and carefully spooned the mixture in the centre of each triangle.
‘Press them closed and use a fork to ensure they are closed tight,’ she said.
The pastry triangles were then placed in the oven on 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
Adele also made a dip from two parts sour cream, one part smashed avocado and a squeeze of lemon juice seasoned with salt and pepper.
‘Press them closed and use a fork to ensure they are closed tight,’ she said before cooking the snacks in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius
The easy to follow recipe is perfect for those who want to reduce food waste and prepare afternoon snacks for their children.
The Instagram post was ‘liked’ more than 1,200 times and other parents praised Adele for sharing the insight.
‘Taco mince and pastry sounds like a match made in heavens,’ one woman wrote.
‘Delicious! Definitely going to make these!’ another said, a third added: ‘They look so yummy, my kids would love them!!’
