Sickening footage has emerged showing a group of teenagers attack a man in a suit as he waited for a bus home from work.

The disturbing incident unfolded on the streets of Wynnum, a coastal suburb of Brisbane where locals fear violence is spiralling out of control.  

Video shows the victim as he is approached by a teenager, who throws a flurry of punches at his head. 

Two other youths join in the attack which spilled on to the road.

The trio continued to throw punches and kicks as the victim fell to the ground. 

A Queensland Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the incident was not reported.

A Wynnum local told The Courier Mail the attack was part of a wider youth violence problem in the area.  

‘These kids are terrorising the community, attacking people and then sharing the videos online,’ she said.

‘Something needs to be done about it.’

It comes after another brawl in Wynnum that left a young teenage boy knocked out in the middle of the street on Saturday July 17. 

‘Police attended the the scene of the reported incident however the crowd had dispersed and no formal complaints were made,’ a Queensland Police spokesman said.  

The force is monitoring a group of youths and encourage the community to report any suspicious or criminal behaviour.
