Jenna and Barbara’s father, former President George W. is great uncle to Lauren’s three sons – who also boast a very famous relative on their father’s side: David’s father, designer Ralph Lauren.

The birth of baby Rocky comes less than a year after Lauren and David marked their ninth wedding anniversary, with Lauren posting a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband to celebrate the milestone.
‘Happy 9 year Anniversary to my one @davidlauren!’ she wrote.
‘If this pandemic has reinforced anything, it’s that I’m very lucky to get to do life with you through the good times and the tougher times. Here is to the next 90+ years together! Xo.’
David shared a similar sentiment in his own post, writing: ‘Lucky to have my one today and everyday…. 9 year anniversary!!’
Lauren met David at the Met Gala in 2004 when she was just 19 years old, and prior to the pandemic, the two returned to the high-profile social event almost every year after to celebrate the anniversary of their first meeting.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is such a special place for the couple that when it came time to propose to his lady love in 2010 he chose that very spot.
David suggested that they meet at the Met to look at some new pictures before attending a dinner nearby, but when Lauren arrived at the venue she was surprised that no one else was there but him.
The great outdoors: While the family is normally based in New York City, they have spent much of the year quarantining in the Hamptons
Politics: Despite being a member of the Republican dynasty, Lauren supported Democratic President-elect Joe Biden in the past election
The art work he wanted her to see was actually a series of photographs from their seven years together.
‘I created our own exhibition of our life together,’ David told Vogue in 2011. ‘And I got down on my knee and proposed.
‘Then we went outside and took a carriage ride with a clarinetist and a saxophonist following us.’
Throughout the pandemic, the couple, who are normally based in New York City, have spent much of their time away from the Big Apple, instead choosing to quarantine with their sons in the Hamptons.
The soon-to-be mother-of-three has clearly enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors with her young children, sharing several images over the past six months that show the family out and about in nature.
Most recently, Lauren and David posted images of James and Max playing in the snow, with Lauren writing: ‘Snow day, fun day! Experiencing the wonders of nature with these puppies is such a gift.’
Lauren, who is the founder of fashion-focused charity FEED, is currently working with Sarah Jessica Parker and her wine brand Invivo X to combat hunger by providing school means to more than 300,000 children internationally.
