Lucy Liu was spotted enjoying an autumnal stroll with a gal pal while out and about in New York City over the weekend.
The 52-year-old warded off the October chill in a fashionable olive green bomber jacket thrown over her white top.
Letting her luxurious dark hair down she pulled on a high-waisted pair of black slacks and legged it on a pair of black leather heels.
Legging it: Lucy Liu was spotted enjoying an autumnal stroll with a gal pal while out and about in New York City over the weekend
A couple of months ago Lucy hit the headlines when she looked back on a spat she had with Bill Murray on the set of their 2000 movie Charlie’s Angels.
Lucy, who was not yet a big name before doing the film with Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, told her side to the Los Angeles Times’ Asian Enough podcast.
To hear her tell it a scene was rejiggered to make it ‘more fluid’ but the changes were made without Bill’s presence or participation.
She noted she was ‘the last one cast and I probably had the least amount of privilege in terms of creatively participating at that time.’

Once the scene began to be shot Bill began to ‘sort of hurl insults,’ she said without mentioning specifics, and she claimed the jabs were all at her expense.
Lucy alleged she was astonished the alleged remarks ‘could be towards me, because what do I have to do with anything majorly important at that time?’
She remembered: ‘I literally do the look around my shoulder thing, like, who is he talking to behind me? I say: “I’m so sorry. Are you talking to me?” And clearly he was, because then it started to become a one-on-one communication.’
Said she: ‘Some of the language was inexcusable and unacceptable, and I was not going to just sit there and take it. So, yes, I stood up for myself, and I don’t regret it.’

Lucy argued that ‘no matter how low on the totem pole you may be or wherever you came from, there’s no need to condescend or to put other people down. And I would not stand down, and nor should I have.’
Despite telling the story she insisted that ‘I have nothing against Bill Murray at all. I’ve seen him since then at a SNL reunion, and he came up to me and was perfectly nice. But I’m not going to sit there and be attacked.’
She found it ‘incredible’ that she was painted as the ‘difficult’ one when rumors of the fight first leaked and that ‘even though it’s been decades, it’s something that obviously I remember very intimately and have not forgotten.’
Throwback: Lucy recently discussed a spat she had with Bill Murray while making Charlie’s Angels which she is pictured in with Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore
Drew recently threw her support behind Lucy’s version of events on her current daytime program The Drew Barrymore Show.
”Okay, so what really happened was Bill was just in a… you know comedians can be a little dark sometimes… and he just came in in a bad mood and what you have to know is how much Lucy stood up for herself and that was the great thing that came out of an unfortunate circumstance,’ Drew claimed.
‘She literally said: “I do not accept that kind of behavior from you.” And we all supported her and backed her up and we moved forward.’
When Bill publicly discussed the alleged altercation during a 2009 interview with Entertainment Weekly he declared: ‘Look, I will dismiss you completely if you are unprofessional and working with me…When our relationship is professional, and you’re not getting that done, forget it.’
